Input, Submit and Amend Internal Assessment Marks
Detailed guidance and instructions on the input, submission, and amendment of internal assessment marks/outcomes, can be found in ourÌýInternal Assessment: A Guide for CentresÌýdocumentÌýandÌýourÌý.
It is a JCQ requirement that beforeÌýsubmittingÌýmarks, centresÌýmustÌýensure that they have followed their internal appeals procedure.
Candidates must be informed of their centre assessed marks so that they may request a review of the centre’s marking before marks areÌýsubmittedÌýto WJEC. Further information is available on the .
CentresÌýinput andÌýsubmitÌýinternal assessment marks/outcomesÌývia IAMIS.ÌýExams Officer and Admin usersÌýhave automatic access to IAMIS.ÌýOther usersÌýcan request access from their centre’sÌýExams Officer and/or Admin users.
Alternatively, internal assessment marks/outcomesÌýcan beÌýsubmitted by EDI. EDI files take up to 72 hours to process at which point IAMIS will be pre-populated with the submitted marks/outcomes.
CentresÌýmustÌýstill then access IAMIS toÌýsubmitÌýthe marks/outcomes to WJEC.ÌýFurther information about EDI submission is availableÌýfrom our IT Helpdesk, who can be contacted atÌýithelpdesk@wjec.co.ukÌýand 029 2026 5169.Ìý
Once a centre has submitted their marks, a moderation sample is generated, and moderator details are displayed on IAMIS.
Submitting moderation samples

Some subjects require the completion and submission of covers sheets and declaration forms. These must be completed for all candidates not only those in the sample, and can be located on the home page of each relevant subject.

Moderator Reports

Centres can access moderator reports on . Click ‘All Services’, followed by 'Examinations & Assessment', then 'Internal Assessment Mark/Outcomes'. Next, choose the exam series and then click the blue 'Moderator Report' button to download.Ìý
Ìý
Moderator reports are made available on the day of results via the Internal Assessment Mark Input System (IAMIS). These reports will be available to view and download according to the following schedule:
